Possible Impossibilities explores the creative power of unexpected musical encounters. Through mashups, stylistic overlays, and surprising juxtapositions, new sonic spaces emerge in which familiar elements appear in an unfamiliar light.

The program combines compositions by Melika Fitzhugh, Peter Jakober, Paul Lansky, Joseph Michaels, Michael Shlomowitz, and others with playful interludes from the world of internet mashups and AI-generated music.

Straddling the line between serious music and pop culture, between homage and transformation, the evening unfolds as a tapestry of contrasts, contradictions, and unexpected connections—a musical experiment that challenges the boundaries between the original and the new creation.
