If you love reading and discussing young adult literature, come visit our Talking Books session in October! We will be discussing Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

In this historical sapphic romance, we follow Joan Goodwin, professor of physics and astronomy, who gets the opportunity to become one of the first women scientists to go to space. As she joins a group of brilliant candidates, Joan makes friends and falls in love – making her question everything she knows about her place in the universe. In this story, the relationships between the characters are what save them, and make them strive in the face of complete failure in a critical moment.
